“I have known both of these guys for a long time now,” Hornets coach Tim Hourahan said. “They have been around the program for many years, coming to watch us play as younger kids and coming to my youth camps. They both played on our JV team last year as eighth graders and produced at a very high level. With only six seniors on the roster this fall, it was time to move these guys up now and see where it would go. Watching them closely in my summer league and then during August training, I anticipated that they would be able to have a very positive impact on our team, but for both of them to come in and score a goal apiece in three consecutive games to start their varsity careers truly is inspirational.”
